Contributions may only be made from personal funds, or LLC funds, from U.S. citizen or permanent resident and cannot be reimbursed by another person. By law, the maximum amount an individual may contribute to “Murphy for Metro” $1,600 or $3,200 per couple per election cycle. Tennessee law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the mailing address, occupation and name of employer for each individual whose contributions exceed $100 in a reporting period. Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. No cash donations will be accepted.
